VSO Housing Program Offers Shelter
One of the most important things a human being needs, in order to feel secure, is a place to sleep at night. Homeless veterans number in the hundreds of thousands in the United States, and this tragedy is being met with action! The Veterans Support Organization operates Veterans' New Life Haven, which provides sober, transitional housing for displaced veterans.
VSO Work Program Helps Jobless Veterans
Even with an economy suffering the "Great Recession", the VSO Work Program is putting jobless veterans to work, and the VSO program does this in a way that also helps even more veterans.
The unique work program helps provide the jobless veterans an income because they share in the proceeds of their collections, and the balance is used for other program services at the VSO.

VSO is a 501(c)(3) organization. The amount of your contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money (and the value of any property other than money) contributed by you minus the fair market value of goods or services provided by VSO. Donations are 100% tax deductible if no goods or services were received from VSO as a result of your donation.
