The Virginia Chapter Operates from Newport News, and it serves residents of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. The Virginia Chapter is among the newest chapters of The Veterans Support Organization.
As with all of our chapters across the East Coast and the Southeast, donations collected help provide funding for veterans’ delinquent utility bills, rent or mortgage; and provide housing assistance for homeless veterans. VSO also provides monetary assistance to the local VA hospitals’ Volunteer Services Department for the support of various programs offered to veterans.

VSO is a 501(c)(3) organization. The amount of your contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money (and the value of any property other than money) contributed by you minus the fair market value of goods or services provided by VSO. Donations are 100% tax deductible if no goods or services were received from VSO as a result of your donation.
