THE CHAPTER STORY:

It is the mission of the VSO to further help and support the homeless, disabled and needy veteran population through various fundraising efforts. The more the organization grows, the less of a threat homelessness and lack of resources is to our local veteran population.

South Florida's VSO chapter is proud to host the Veteran's New Life Haven, a transitional housing program specifically for the homeless veteran in South Florida, or other homeless veterans who are willing to relocated to the greater Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Palm Beach area.

The VSO South Florida also operates the VSO Thift Store, located just north of Downtown Fort Lauderdale, that helps raise money for the various VSO programs in South Florida and across the East Coast of the United States.
