The Connecticut Chapter, once part of the Tri-State Chapter, is now a separate chapter devoted entirely to serving the veterans in Connecticut. This new chapter operates from Bridgeport.
The donations we collect help provide funding for veterans’ past-due utility bills, their rents or mortgages, and we provide housing assistance for homeless veterans. VSO also provides monetary assistance to the local VA hospitals’ Volunteer Services Department for the support of various programs offered to veterans.

VSO is a 501(c)(3) organization. The amount of your contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the excess of any money (and the value of any property other than money) contributed by you minus the fair market value of goods or services provided by VSO. Donations are 100% tax deductible if no goods or services were received from VSO as a result of your donation.
